Big Five

The design of Nuna 12s proudly showcases the Big Five, symbolizing our fifth participation in the Sasol Solar Challenge. Each animal reflects a core value of our team: the lion stands for leadership, the buffalo for invincibility, the leopard for speed, the rhino for resilience, and the elephant for wisdom. Together, these elements highlight our commitment to pushing boundaries in solar technology and teamwork.

This eight-day event takes participants across South Africa's breathtaking landscapes, testing their endurance through varying weather conditions. The objective is to cover as many kilometers as possible on the route from Johannesburg to Cape Town. With Nuna 12s, the team successfully completed 4191.1 kilometers, securing an impressive 3rd place finish.
