Brunel Solar Team and Omnimark: A Combination of Innovation and Creativity
Since 2009, we have closely collaborated with Omnimark to not only optimize the aerodynamics of our solar cars but also to make our sponsors stand out in a distinctive manner. This long-term partnership has led to impressive results and creative solutions.
The Wrap on Nuna 12S
In May, Omnimark handled the wrap for our Nuna 12S. Eveline and Valérie from our team were present to assist in applying the wrap. Together, we ensured that the most aerodynamic lines were followed and that the final result was visually appealing.
For the Nuna 12S, we chose a creative wrap that not only highlights our sponsors' names but also features other unique elements. This wrap combines our university town of Delft with the country where the race takes place: South Africa. In Delft blue, you can find the 'big five' wild animals depicted on our solar car. The lion stands for leadership, the leopard for speed, the elephant for intelligence, the buffalo for invincibility, and the rhinoceros for resilience.
A New Wrap for Paris
For our trip to Paris, Omnimark also provided the wrap. In a short timeframe, our previous edition, Nuna 11S, was outfitted with a new wrap specifically for the largest sports event. For this occasion, we traveled to Paris, and Nuna was given a new outfit in red, white, and blue, featuring a striking orange lion. The illustration on Nuna in Paris produced stunning images and attracted a lot of attention.

Thanks to their expertise in printing and lettering techniques, we succeed in preparing our solar cars optimally for the challenges of the Solar Challenge.
