TOPdesk supports Brunel Solar Team through three-year Diamond partnership
Technological development and innovation
The Diamond Partnership is the second highest possible partnership with the Brunel Solar Team. With these and other partnerships, the team – composed of eleven students at TU Delft – is committed to continuous innovation and development of a solar-powered racing car. With the self-developed racing car, students want to promote sustainability and inspire the industry with technological innovations. With their solar car 'Nuna' they participate in solar races all over the world. And with succes; the team is one of the most famous and successful worldwide.
Rik Prins, Managing Director at TOPdesk, said about the partnership: “I am extremely proud to be Diamond Partner of the successful Brunel Solar Team. The dedication and ambition of this group of students and the drive they have to go into the depths together is incredibly beautiful to see. The partnership fits well with TOPdesk’s culture and focus to establish quality relationships with both customers and employees and to continuously develop their potential. With Nuna 11s, the Solar Team literally breathes innovation and sustainability, two values that are very high at TOPdesk. We are constantly looking for ways to take responsibility for the world around us. This sponsorship is a great opportunity to invest in this. We look forward to actively contributing to a more sustainable world and technological innovations through this partnership.”
“We are very pleased to add TOPdesk as a high-quality partner to the Solar Team network,” says Xavier van der Thillart, partnerships & PR at the Brunel Solar team. “In addition to having a shared origin in Delft, we also see the match with TOPdesk in other areas. We share our winning mentality and ambition to contribute to a more sustainable world through technological development and innovation. The software from TOPdesk also allows us to further optimize our collaboration within the team. I look forward to making a social impact together and winning the upcoming race in South Africa.”
